*) Maharashtra ( Nagpur ): Bharat Janta Party BJP ) will announce its 1st list of possible members for the  forthcoming Assembly polls in Maharashtra in the 1st week of Sep, a senior party chief said on Sat.
"The seat-sharing discussion with alliance members are in swing and likely the party manifesto is being prepare, which will be discharged soon," state unit BJP chief Madhav Bhandari told journalist.
He added that BJP has been arranging a continuous meetings at governmental level to waiting-list the contestant, and will declare the 1st list of possible later conclusion of the exercise by end of August.

Replying to a question, Bhandari added, "The alliance (Mahayuti) had taken a afvantage in 231 Assembly divisoins amid freshly-held Lok Sabha polls and thus is in high morale," Bhandari said.
BJP had achieved 23 seats while its  partner Shiv Sena 18 seats in Lok Sabha elections. In 2009 Assembly pools, BJP had gained 46 seats and Shiv Sena achieved 45.
Bhandari added that BJP-Sena altogether will retake power in Maharashtra even though Lok Sabha and Assembly polls are contesting onseperate issues.
Assembly polls are scheduled in the state in October. Replying to state CM Prithviraj Chavan avoid the ceremony of PM Narendra Modi in Nagpur on Thursday, Bhandari added, "the CM was hooted by his own party members in his ruling area in the past."
