She spoken that the space made by his passing in the Indian literary space and social conscience will be tough to occupy.

In his consoling word, Congress Vice leader Rahul Gandhi utter that he was severely disheartened to listen of Ananthmurthy demise.

"We have adrift in him a world great author, an educationist and a thinker," Rahul spoken.

"He granted truly not just to Kannada story but lead renowned knowledge and wisdom to any of the best crucial national affairs. His cost will be severely moaned. My condolence are with his families," he added.
